Houston, we have a problem. Beatrice Balaj is in town and she is going to give you all a hotel review of the top 3 hotels in Houston, Texas. On the top of our list is the Royal Sonesta Houston. My boyfriend and I arrived in Houston on Thursday morning.

When our Uber pulled-up to the hotel, we loved the neighborhood and the relaxing location, due to the buildings surrounding the hotel. We drove past the beautiful entry, which has the most beautiful palm trees and if you follow my Instagram, you will see how obsessed I am with palm trees!!

Upon arriving in the lobby, the hotel concierge was very welcoming and friendly. They gave us a rundown of the hotel amenities and cool features that the Royal Sonesta Houston obtains. The first thing that caught my eyes when walking into the lobby was the beautiful artistic light fixtures/ There is also a gorgeous bar that features a beautiful granite wall and let me tell you, the bartender is one of the best mixologists I’ve had make my drink. The beverages tasted amazing and if you wonder what I ordered, it was a Cadillac Margarita.

Besides the wonderful lobby and cool bar, Vanand captured some amazing photos of me on the awesome staircase in the ballroom hall. I mean, everywhere you look in the lobby is beautifully decorated and picturesque. Can you imagine wedding photos at the Royal Sonesta Houston!? I can and I bet they have the best wedding album in Houston. 😉

Once we took the elevator to our room, featuring 2 queen beds, we had to nap and prepare for the afternoon. We stayed on the 20th floor, which I recommend because the freeway traffic cannot be heard from that high up. Another cool feature of the room was the closet. There was a mirror attached to the closet door which I was super stoked about. Every woman knows how difficult it can be finding a hotel room with a full-body mirror. It makes getting ready easier when there are two mirrors in the hotel room and the Royal Sonesta has your back.

Everything about the Royal Sonesta Houston Hotel was what I expected and I would like to give a special thank you to the Valencia Group for making this stay so wonderful and pleasant. It was our first time in Houston and the Royal Sonesta Houston made our experience in Houston so worth visiting.
