Experiencing the Eiffel Tower at nighttime was unreal. I have been on many skyscrapers in the United States, but the actually realization of being in the city of lights and experiencing the Eiffel Tower in person was surreal. My favorite part of the night was when the Eiffel Tower sparkled for five minutes at 9pm. I did not get a chance to capture the sparkling lights with my camera because I was so mesmerized, but many of you got to see the sparkles on my Snapchat. BTW, if you are not following me, you HAVE to ;). My username is: beatricebalaj
On-top of the tower, I also got to experience hypothermia. Ha. I’m exaggerating, but it honestly did feel like I was in the Atlantic Ocean (freezing as heck)! I layered two t-shirts, two jackets and a pair of Topshop ripped jeans. My legs were not as cold as my upper body, but my neck did stay warm wearing my Saint Laurent scarf.
I listed everything I wore below. If you are interested in layering for winter but do not know how, this blog post is the perfect tutorial. You’re welcome! 🙂
