Day two of New York Fashion Week was chillier than other days. I got through the day because I made sure to layer a few pieces under my blouse. Taking a cab, instead of the subway also helped keep us warm and keep my white outfit white.
The day began with a quick stop at Bollare in Tribeca, NY. There I met the sweetest blogger, Kyrzayda Rodriguez, that you all have to follow! After Bollare we attended the Sachin and Babi Runway Show and I was blown away by the multicultural designs. The collection’s inspiration was based on the designers’ Indian and English heritage. The entire collection was designed with colors, silk, beads, floral prints, lace and ruffles.
After the runway, I was lucky to sit down and speak with the designer Babi and discuss the collection. After Sachin and Babi, Dylana and I Ubered to the Club Monaco Presentation. Per usual, I love contemporary wear and you cannot go wrong with their style. After Club Monaco, we were invited to Concept Korea Runway Show, Nicole Miller Runway Show, Hakan Akkaya Runway Show, and Dan Liu Runway Show.
It was a crazy and busy day with so much to see and do. A special thank you goes out to Dylana Suarez for hosting me and being the bestest friend in NYC. New York City would not be the same if it was not for her, her fun personality, and kind heart.
Oh and a special thank you to each and everyone of you! I feel so happy and blessed that you all love the work I do and follow me along my journey.
