Simplicity is dressing in all one hue. No matter what shades of the same color you wear, if the colors are within the same tone (cool should be paired with cool and warm with warm). You will look like a perfect canvas.
While in New York City, I only packed for a few days and bought a one way ticket. I honestly did not have many clothes to work with, other than a couple pair of shorts and jeans. I knew that I wanted to wear this pink lace bodysuit (picked it up on sale at Nordstrom), but nothing seemed to match it well enough.
My decision were either black shorts, or pink shorts and surprisingly, I felt bolder wearing the pink shorts (you can get them at Zara). Luckily, I shot this look after 2pm so the lighting on New York streets were cooler, making the shades of pink match better – compared to how the color combo looked in my apartment at 10am (the top was cooler than the shorts).
After getting dolled up, I headed to see my friend Josiah. We had wonderful session and talked business and blogging. I got to shoot these looks in neat the Flatiron. It’s a beautiful building and a popular tourist sight, so shooting here was difficult because of all the people behind me.
