Hotel Alessandra Houston has exceeded all hotels I have stayed at. Seriously. When arriving at Hotel Alessandra, there is a beautiful and massive granite staircase that leads to the lobby. If you deem fit to workout I would take the staircase, but when arriving with luggages, I would recommend the elevator around the corner. I mean, I would not mind the elevators. They are designed of gold with a mirrored ceiling. Luxury is the first word that comes to mind when taking the elevator to the second floor (the lobby).

When we checked-in, the decor in the lobby was modern French inspired. Literally, every corner of the hotel is gorgeous! Above the concierge desk is a massive twenty-something foot painting. I wish I would have captured a photo of the painting but I guess you will just have to see yourselves if you stay at Hotel Alessandra Houston.

From the lobby, we took the elevator to the 15th floor. The hallways to our room were long and white and both ends have glass windows that overlook Downtown Houston. It’s pretty cool and scary because you can look down and see the city sidewalks. Beware, do not approach if you are scared of heights.

When we unpacked our luggages we went straight to the pool, which overlooks Downtown Houston. It has one of the most beautiful views and pool I have seen. Not to mention, white and wood lounge chairs around the pool. We had a blast sipping on cocktails from their state of the art bar on the 2nd floor. Upon going up to our room, we arrived to a red wine and a delicious cheese platter delivery, courtesy of the hotel. It was what Vanand and I needed after bathing in the sun.

Can I just move in, please? Overall, our stay at Hotel Alessandra was one of the best stays I have had. We enjoyed the staff, the decor, the view, the quietness and the cleanliness.
