Let’s be honest. When I receive products from brands my team and I never know what to expect. We never want to come across a situation where persuasion to purchase an item is more important than our honest words and statement because of an advertisement or sponsorship.
All the reviews on my blog are my honest opinion and I hope you will enjoy this Vika’s Essentials review.
When Vika reached out to me about her products I was excited that they were organic, but did not know what to expect from the results, since she was going to send me some goodies for my acne prone skin.
I went to her website and I did my research. I read her ingredients, her company’s mission statement and what products she sold. After reading that Vika’s creams, serums, toners, cleansers, masks and scrubs are handcrafted in our lab in Minnesota, USA, and that they were 100% organic, I was very impressed and wanted to review the products for you all.
First off, let me tell you that when I received the package I was blown away. I looked on the label and saw no more than a few ingredients. Vika’s formulas are concentrated and it takes a tiny amount to receive the desirable results. Vika’s Essentials also use 5 to 11 active ingredients max to pack into a single formula.
I have stated in previous posts about skin care, organic skin care is my go-to. Reason being, you get the pure, non-toxic, non-pesticide and natural ingredients in the product. This can be a difficulty though if you have troublesome skin. I always like to try organic first.
When I began using Vika’s Essentials two months ago, my skin was breaking out from stress. I began using the face wash in the morning and stuck to my First Aid Beauty deep cleanser face wash at nighttime. Each morning that I used the face wash my skin looked better and better. I promise it was not in my head, but the products were actually doing what they they were supposed to do.
Igredients include: Tea Tree, Lemongrass and Lavender. Free of alcohol. Free of soapy ingredients. Gently washes away impurities while hydrating your skin.
After washing my face morning and night, I used the Facial Floral Toner. At first I was not expecting the vinegar scent, but with the Lemongrass scent cancels most of the vinegar scent and it smells refreshing.
The toner helped with my skin’s PH level and clear my acne naturally. This is like magic in a bottle!
Ingredients include: Flower Hydrosol and organic pure essential oils, Eucalyptus, Cedarwood and Lemongrass.
Since I have combination skin, I tend to stay away from Argan Oil during daytime. I only use it before bedtime and I love it! It moisturizes really well and does not leave skin feeling greasy. It is considered “liquid gold” by the Moroccans.
The Moroccan Queen is by far one of the BEST masks I have ever used!! It really delivers the results you want. The lavender scent smells amazing too.
This luxurious treatment masque transforms and refines skin’s appearance with Rhassoul clay mined from the Atlas Mountains of Morocco.
