Sunday’s brunch and tea spots are my favorite, especially when you can take pretty pictures outside of pink buildings.
Alfred’s Tea Room in West Hollywood is a hit in Los Angeles. But do not be fooled, there are two locations: Alfred’s Coffee on Melrose Place and Alfred’s Tea Room (across the street). Alfred’s Tea offers a smaller variety of pastries, all which are locally and freshly baked daily, a great variety of teas and coffee, and a super creative gift shop.
When bloggers shoot with a hungry belly, we hold off on eating until we capture the fresh and untouched makeup, and unstained clothes (some of
us are clumsy, unfortunately). After taking photos, my friend Adina and I purchased some delicious rose teas and matcha croissants. I was so looking forward to my tea that I rushed through this photoshoot. Adina did pretty well capturing my streetstyle look on-the-go, because we were in a rush. After our teas and croissants, we left Alfred’s and headed to lunch and then we attended our evening service at church.
Since it was chilly, I wore my newest suede leather jacket I got from Blank NYC, a Zara wool sweater (currently my FAVORITE), my favorite old pair of Zara jeans that I think I’ve had for a good 4 years, my Sam Edelman booties and my chic Saint Laurent Love fringe chain bag.
As you can see, my latest blog post outfits have been super laid back… Glad you noticed because I am completely changing my blog’s fashion style to more everyday looks, rather than dressy looks. I want to get more personal with you all and show you how to dress up in a more comfortable and trendy way on the go.
This inspiration began when a few months ago when I was booked back to back on projects as an assistant and freelance fashion stylist. I began attending less events and working more, so I decided on showcasing my everyday looks because everyday outfits are what I have been wearing for the past few months. When I do get dressed up for a fashion event, a special event, or a wedding, you will all be the first to see so please stay tune.
Oh and follow me on my Instagram fashion account: @beatricebalaj. You will find my daily load down of my outings, annoying but hilarious everyday Instagram Stories and my choices for clients I dress. 🙂
Oh and because you are curious… Here’s what I am wearing:
