Your Are Here:|, Fashion, Make-up, Outfits|MAKEUP TUTORIAL- ITALIAN LEATHER BOOTS

Besides styling beautiful outfits together, makeup has been a passion of mine since I first began shopping at Sephora a few years ago. Now, more than ever, I have been inspired by my sister Eunicia’s Youtube channel to do more with my makeup, than an everyday looks. If you do not follow her, please subscribe to her page here.
I will be honest and confess that in the past I did not put on eyeshadow, unless there was a special event, such as a wedding, fashion show, or a date. I typically used to put on foundation, bronzer and mascara and call it a day. However, recently I have been contouring, highlighting, and wearing eyeshadow; along with an daring shade of lipstick.
Ever since I began contouring, putting on a great deal of eyeshadow and highlighting, I have been feeling more feminine and each morning I enjoy putting on what I like to call ‘art’, because it really is. I enjoy creating a different look each day using different colors, shades, and brands. This is why I have been obsessing over makeup. I enjoy to look ‘on point’.
If you have seen my previous outfit post from the Italian Leather Boots article, I created a warm makeup look. This look is one of my favorite everyday looks because of the hues of pink and corals; perfect for any season or weather. I know it can be much for a woman that settles for just foundation, blush and mascara, but for someone like me, that enjoys eyeshadow it is not overly done.
Well, I can sit here and write all about my makeup obsession but I rather explain what I am wearing in this post. Here is how I created this look:
For my foundation I used Amazonian Clay 12 hour Foundation by Tarte. My color for the foundation is fair-light honey. It is an oil free full coverage foundation. I apply this with my Real techniques buffing brush (you can find one at Ulta).
Face Powder
I chose Lock-It Powder Foundation by Kat Von D. If you know me personally you will know that I love love love Kat Von D products. They are super awesome because the face foundations and powders cover to the extreme and they do not clog my pores (oil free/ fragrance free/ non comedogenic). I apply this over my foundation with a powder brush to give the foundation a finishing look.
After I add my powder, I apply bronzer under my cheek bones. The only bronzer I use is Bobbi Brown, in color: Natural. The reason why I only use Bobbi Brown is because her bronzers are the only colors that do not have a harsh brown look for every skin tone  (fair, medium, dark skin). I apply the bronzer using a Sephora highlighting brush #12. I discovered the best technique for applying my bronzer is using a highlighting brush. It goes on better and looks flawless.
I have been obsessed with the Tamanna Eyeshadow Palette by Anastasia Beverly Hills (currently sold out) and the Chocolate Bar eyeshadow palette. I apply these palettes with two brushes. Brush number one is the Pro Allover Shadow Brush #12 by Sephora. This is an all over brush that I use to apply the base, as well as any color in the mid eye lid. The second brush I use is the Pro Crease Brush #10 by Sephora. I use the crease brush to build a darker color in the crease. Although I use both of these brushes for eyeshadow, I love Sigma’s brushes. They are softer and much smoother on the eyelids.
I like to reapply my foundation under my eyes after applying eyeshadow and then add blush over my cheekbones. I use Bobbi Brown or Mac blushes. At the moment I am obsessed with Orgasm by Nars. Orgasm is a peachy blush with shimmer and it looks great on any skin tone, I promise! I apply my blush with the Pro Fan Brush #65 by Sephora.
After Blush I do my eyebrows using the Anastasia Brow Wiz. I use color: Taupe/Ash Blonde. Practice makes perfect and boy did I learn from practicing.
Mascara and Eyeliner
I will always choose mascara over eyeliner. At the moment I am loving the Lancome’s Hypnose Drama Mascara. It is by far, better than Dior and Better than Sex by Too Faced (which are two of the top selling mascaras in Sephora at the moment. As for eyeliner, I am a loyal customer to Urban Decay.
I hope this review/written tutorial helps you purchase your next products. I have tried so many products and these are currently my favorites. Enjoy and thanks for reading. 🙂
